Head of Import Manufacturing

Reformation is seeking a Head of Import Manufacturing to lead the team in establishing a new division within our Supply Chain. They will play a critical role in defining the production strategy as well as developing relationships with new manufacturing partners. This person is intensely collaborative, likes to tackle hard problems, and isn’t afraid to try something new. They are passionate about getting results and making a difference.

* Plan and implement the import manufacturing strategy to execute on the Supply Chain growth goals. * Anticipate, research & report on overall changes and trends in import manufacturing, and ensure such knowledge is factored into the Supply Chain strategy plans. * Use your network and go around the world to identify and onboard new manufacturing partners for Reformation * Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles. * Negotiate development & sales contracts to enable effective trading, operations and supplier relations. * Travel to overseas manufacturing facilities to build relationships and help ensure suppliers are following Reformation’s Code of Conduct.

**Experience and Skills:** * BA or Master’s degree in Operations Management or related field required, * 5-8 years experience * Operational expertise in import manufacturing and/or sourcing for an apparel or luxury goods company * Project management (budget/timeline tracking tools) and negotiations (global contracts & compliance) experience * Excellent communication skills * Must be sharp, deadline focused and motivated **Who You Are:** * Scrappy - hands-on or entrepreneurial attitude, results driven * Self-starter - ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager * Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Proven prioritization, time management and project management skills * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
