The Agent Efficiency team creates creates thoughtfully designed, high performance software to help our Agents and their teams be effective in serving Redfin customers. As a Software Engineer, you'll help lead the technical direction of our team, and be on the front-line of building out these tools.

* Solve complex problems to build robust, scalable internal tools that capture performance and load issues before release * Participate in designing and building the performance pipeline to understand user-perceived performance in production, analyze server health, and find opportunities for long-term performance optimization * Develop new benchmarks that are representative of internal workloads

* 5+ years of experience as a software engineer * Experience implementing complex engineering frameworks, pipelines, or large-scale services from the ground up * Scale, performance, and stability drive your decision-making * You are current and curious about all industry trends, including the forefront of JavaScript, Java and SQL tools. * You spearhead engineering changes to raise the quality of development across the engineering organization.
