Senior Copywriter

Redfin is a technology-powered real estate brokerage that represents people buying and selling homes. Founded and run by technologists, Redfin has a team of real estate agents who earn a salary and customer-satisfaction bonuses, not commissions. Redfin.com features all of the broker-listed homes for sale, as well as for-sale-by-owner properties. Redfin real estate agents work with the company's team of engineers to create tools that make the buying and selling process easier.

As a branch of the Brand Marketing team, the Redfin copy team owns all customer-facing copy and drives the brand voice. The senior copywriter's responsibilities will include writing for: homepages, landing pages, mobile apps, emails, digital ads, print collateral, and proprietary tech products. This person must be passionate about all things writing, developing a modern brand voice, using data and A/B testing to improve all copy, and always putting the customer first.

• Bachelor’s Degree, plus a minimum of five-years work experience in an agency or in-house setting
• Excellent writer that can take on a unique brand voice, and has experience writing both short- and long-form copy for web and mobile
• Strong copy editing and proofreading skills, with familiarity following a brand style guide
• Ability to self-manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Critical thinker and great verbal communicator who works well with cross-functional teams, including design and marketing, and can present copy/content best practices and defend copy choices
