To keep the spirit alive, we are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst based in San Francisco to power some really important company decisions with accurate and compelling insights. We are creating a meaningful company with enduring value and your analytics will help us achieve this mission.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain the current BI reporting environment in GoodData * Gather and critically evaluate information from multiple sources to establish context and improve understanding of the drivers affecting sales and overall business performance, focusing mainly on the current and potential product offerings of the business * Produce comprehensive reports detailing and communicating the results of your analysis to various constituents within the company * Challenge and evaluate corporate assumptions regarding goals, initiatives, processes and metrics * Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to define informational and functional requirements and develop the systems required to fulfill these needs * Help in developing forecasting models for marketing, people, finance and operations teams

**You Are:** * Curious. You possess strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret and extrapolate data. * Insightful. The ability to critically derive context from unclear, incomplete and sometimes contradictory data. * A Doer. A multitasker that can get stuff done. You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. **What you’ll bring to the bubble:** * 2-5 years’ experience in a data analyst/engineer role * Bachelors or Masters Degree in Statistics or Computer Science preferred * A good working knowledge of RDBMS (SQL), preferably with query-writing experience * Prior experience working with R or pandas OR strong data manipulation/scripting/analysis experience in Matlab/JMP with a willingness to learn R * Prior experience with BI tools, such as GoodData * E-commerce experience in an operational role * Prior experience with Python or similar languages in a data pipelining capacity * Experience working with APIs
