As our Accounts Payable Specialist, based in San Francisco, you will be a hero helping us get things down to the penny, supporting us in closing out our months and even helping get our teams reimbursed. You might even dip your toes into some advanced work with inventory and reconciliation.

• Process invoices and maintain A/P record keeping
• Prepare vendor payments for approval to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner
• Ensure vendor discounts are applied correctly
• Process employee expense reimbursements…our team travels a lot!
• Process and reconcile monthly corporate credit card accounts
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• Research and correct discrepancies in vendor statements
• Assist in month end closing, bank reconciliations and accruals
• Assist financial accounting team with posting journals, reconciling accounts and accounting for inventory
• Help with foreign exchange considerations when paying fulfillers abroad
• Assist with federal, state, and local tax filings
• Support team with exciting special projects as they come up

What You’ll Bring to the Bubble:

• Intermediate Excel a must
• Experience with NetSuite, a plus
• Experience with Expensify, even more of a plus
• A passion for creative individualism
• BS in Finance or Accounting or relevant experience
• 1-2 years of experience in the accounting field with a focus on A/P
• Familiarity with accounting principles, documentation, research/resolution, and basic data analysis
• Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
