Summary
The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Territory Services Manager. In this role, you will work in a designated sales territory and collaborate with the area sales manager and Red Hat sales representatives to promote business development activities for the Consulting Services team. You'll be responsible for pre-sales through project delivery, including guiding sales cycles and preparing project approach documents and proposals that include business and technical requirements as well as the appropriate solutions, schedules, delivery times, and cost. You will also work with Red Hat sales representatives to guide consulting sales opportunities from qualification to close, while managing all assigned projects and resources and meeting revenue, margin, and booking goals.
Responsibilities
* Grow your territory through the development of internal business partnerships with the Field Sales team and alliance and partner programs * Accurately and consistently provide revenue and booking forecasts for your territory * Design and implement effective, high-impact technical and business solutions for Red Hat customers * Manage revenue and booking goals across all practices; meet margin and use targets * Ensure successful delivery of all projects
Ideal Candidate
* In-depth knowledge of how customers use Red Hat technology in their businesses * Thorough understanding of Red Hats product and solutions offerings * Technical background that includes architecture and technical consulting experience * Experience and demonstrated expertise supporting the sale of professional services * Solid foundation of in-depth technical knowledge in enterprise architecture, application development, or infrastructure * Experience developing statements of work, pricing, large-scale proposal development, and client development * Pre-sales and scope management expertise * Experience in customer-facing positions as a professional services consultant or engineer, preferably within a technology or consulting organization
