Summary
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Sales Manager for the Northeast U.S. region. In this highly important role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of sales associates in promoting the success of a multi-product go-to-market strategy for Red Hat. You'll report to the regional manager for the Northeast, and will be instrumental in developing and implementing growth strategies and a comprehensive solutions approach to reach strategic clients for Red Hat. You'll need to have a dynamic and creative approach to managing your team of sales professionals. We'll also need you to be team-oriented and passionate with solid problem-solving skills. This position can be located remotely in Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
Develop, coach, and mentor a sales team to grow business and promote effective sales strategies Motivate and inspire your team while taking on competitors as Red Hat gains market share in enterprise markets Guide the sales team to achieve quarterly and annual revenue as well as growth targets by establishing sales goals and monitoring achievement Maintain a close working relationship with other members of the regional leadership team and contribute to the strategic and tactical success of Red Hats core business and company as a whole
Ideal Candidate
5-10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in a highly matrixed software organization Proficient with profit and loss management, as well as marketing strategies that contribute to success Experience managing a $50 million sales team and demonstrated capability to use personal knowledge, processes, and solutions selling strategies and methodologies to meet revenue growth objectives Demonstrated ability to guide and promote execution targets Relationship-oriented, with a solid presence and proven ability to build credibility at all levels within a client organization, including C-level executives
