Channel Sales Account Manager

The Red Hat Sales team is seeking an experienced Channel Sales Account Manager to join us. In this role, you will support a set of key Red Hat partner relationships and manage the sales, marketing, and technical enablement of those partners in the region. We'll need you to have excellent communication skills and a track record of success in technology channel sales to help us grow Red Hat's business with these key partners.

Manage the business plans, development, and performance of the region's advance and premier business partners Recommend, promote, and demote partners; orchestrate Red Hat resources in-region to enable partners (sales, marketing, and technical) Support deal registration and set the strategy for any joint marketing activities between Red Hat and our partners Coordinate with marketing teams on market development funds for their partners in the region Forecast the region's channel bookings each quarter and serve as the subject matter expert for all things Red Hat or channel-related Make end-user sales calls with partner sellers as needed

Bachelor's degree 5+ years of successful software sales experience in the channel (experience with middleware, virtualization, storage, and cloud is a plus) Experience growing a channel ecosystem in a multi-product company Proven experience driving results through business partners, and an ability to inspire partner executive confidence Experience with matrix management, industry business insight, sales leadership skills, and marketing knowledge Linux or open source product knowledge (Red Hat is preferred) Proven business development skills with program development and associated measurements that identify best practice and prove return on investment
