Summary
**Analyst, Strategic Solutions (financial services)** - Strong analytical skills, including use of spreadsheet/database software for quantitative analysis. * NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 6 months. * Analyst to assume investment and client-related requests from clients and senior members of the Strategic Solutions team. This position is highly visible and critical to the success of the organization and its growth. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with others in the sales and service, investment, and operations teams to provide high quality, timely and complete responses to our clients.
Responsibilities
* Provide strong quantitative and analytical skills to support the Strategic Solutions Group. * Undertake portfolio evaluation and analysis of client accounts. * Assist with the quarterly reporting process, including performance calculation and written analysis. * Assist with client interface respond to inquiries and analytic requests from clients in a timely and accurate manner. * Responsible for month-end portfolio review, rebalancing client portfolios, and cash flow analysis with senior account manager. * Assist in generating asset allocation recommendations for current and prospective institutions by using the APM as well as other portfolio modeling applications. * Maintain and update presentation materials. * Assist with specific project requests from clients or senior staff. * Assist with development of charts, materials, and written communications in collaboration with our Marketing and Investment groups. * Develop a keen knowledge of investment strategies and programs.
Ideal Candidate
* Undergraduate degree required. * Strong analytical skills, including use of spreadsheet/database software for quantitative analysis. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Demonstrated ability to complete assignments independently and on a timely basis. * Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish broader goals and objectives. * Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills. * Ability to handle multiple responsibilities. * Willingness to work after hours, when necessary, to accomplish work assignments. * NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 6 months.
