Summary
Are you a computer science geek that loves to write code but is also passionately savvy in thinking about how customers use products? Do you love to write code just so that you can write more code to test the code that you just wrote? If so, then this is it. This is where the rubber meets the proverbial road, as they say. The SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) role will work as part of a team focused on delivering the absolute best to our customers. The role will primarily be focused on designing, building and running automated tests with some manual testing as needed.
Responsibilities
* Create and maintain test automation to support regression testing * Support and help create acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owners * Execute manual tests as needed to verify acceptance and automation criteria is met * Author bug reports and write/maintain test documentation
Ideal Candidate
**Required Skills/Experience** * Proven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable tests implemented on schedule * Understanding of software development process * Professional and effective verbal and written communications skills * Ability to effectively prioritize and complete multiple tasks * Ability to work in a fast-paced, often-changing environment * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Good time-management, planning and organization skills * Ability to work collaboratively with others **Technical Interests and Experience** * Java, Cucumber, jUnit, JavaScript * Selenium Web Driver * Good written and verbal communication skills: the forensics of great defect tracking and troubleshooting! * Experience with SQL a plus * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with Agile development practices a plus.
