Software Test Developer

RBC I&TS is undertaking a transformation to be increasingly client-centric through the Advanced Client Experience Program. In groups of agile labs, we are rapidly defining, testing, and delivering working applications to our clients. This program is quickly creating a next-generation technology product for our clients RBC Data. We are integrating various services and disparate backend systems, displaying information in a way that clients have never before had access to. You will be a part of a highly skilled agile team and work with as a Quality Assurance Engineer in a very collaborative environment where you will have continuous learning opportunities and challenging work.

* Test a large-scale, custom distributed software system built with Java and JavaScript technologies: spring boot, angularJS and Cloud Foundry. * Use Open Source testing tools like Selenium to automate testing. * Identify tests through strategic thinking. * Triage failures, identify root-cause, and define corrective actions. * Work closely with developers, business and other quality analysts in a highly collaborative environment.

**Must-have:** * Experience with Open Source testing tools such as Selenium, Robot, Protractor and JMeter. * Knowledge of Scripting Languages like JavaScript and Python . * Ability to query and create test data in a relational database using SQL. **Nice to Have** * Experience with QTP, Load Runner, HPQC. * Experience working in an agile environment and knowledge of the Definition of Done.
