Summary
In this role you will have global responsibility cross the Corporate Systems group (spans the following functions: Risk, Compliance, Finance, HR and Procurement Technology) and is responsible for guiding, developing, and consulting on cross-functional initiatives that support the implementation projects driven either by Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI), Audit and Operational Risk or internal Corporate Systems initiatives
Responsibilities
* Engage sponsoring executives, IT leads and establishes trusted partnerships to ensure deliveries within scope, budget, and timelines. * Fully responsible for the delivery of projects or programs on time and budget. * Identify, monitor, & mitigate cross-project or cross-program dependencies * Manage relationships, anticipate / mitigate risks * Facilitate communications across Corporate Systems application support and development, as it relates to the program, groups outside the program and stakeholders * Leverage best practice program and project management disciplines and experience to prevent programs or projects faltering in early stages. * Resolve complex issues and conflicts, escalates where required. * Manage ambiguity and achieves consensus resolution where ambiguity cannot be eliminated. * Control escalations and builds supportive environment focused on proactive solutions to anticipate and resolve challenges that arise. * Continuously improve program delivery efficiencies and effectiveness by using practical, reusable templates, artefacts, incorporating lessons learned, and best practices. * Identify and drives operational reporting and process improvements for continuous improvements in application support organization * Track record of delivery through the use or resources that work in other business units **Relationships and communication** * Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to get things done. * Maintain open and honest communication with Enterprise Partners and internal IT stakeholders. * Tailor messaging to audience. * Balance collaboration and consensus with ability o assert program management discipline where required. * Keep management team and stakeholders up-to-date on status. * Seasoned practitioner in leading project teams through fast, complex pace of programs to minimize anxiety and optimize focus on delivery. * Build strong relationships and is a trusted partner with Enterprise partners and Internal IT stakeholders. **Managerial excellence** * Sets direction for the team. * Create work environment where staff is engaged, challenged, happy and satisfied. * Build project management capability of the team. * Coach in delivery, issue management and risk management. * Spearhead and guide people through changes.
Ideal Candidate
* Knowledge & experienced with Application development and Infrastructure project deliveries as the projects are highly technical in their nature * Strong collaboration and negotiation skills in a highly matrixed environment * Track record and ability to work comfortably in a highly matrix environment * Experience with and knowledge of best practice Project Management/Management Methodologies such as Agile, Iterative Waterfall, CMM * Strong delivery record, coordinating multiple teams and vendors * Ability to manage across geographies * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Coaching & mentoring, leadership and direction experience * Change management and continuous improvement experience for Global organizations **Nice-to-have** * PMP Certification
