Configuration Analyst I

The Engineering Product Support Directorate (EPSD) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and are under configuration control.

• Participate in the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinates the introduction of technical engineering data and changes into the RMS configuration management process for an assigned program.
• Performing analysis on technical engineering data items to ensure a robust, producible, and fully supportable product.
• Reviews released engineering data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support functions, and manufacturing.
• Assists in the implementation of customer requirements and review of change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

• Experience working with a team to achieve a common goal
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
• Experience with sending professional emails
• Self-starter with above average communication skills
• Project management skills
• Working knowledge of government contracts, specifications and regulations
• MS Project experience
