About RadPad
RadPad is a photo-based mobile application where renters can find a new apartment, condo, or home easily via a transparent process with property owners.
Responsibilities
- Own responsibility for coming up with solutions to complex problems
- Create APIs to support our mobile and web products
- Work with our Front-End team to find ways to improve performance and user experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
- Design and build core backend components
- Conduct design & code reviews • Work very closely with Product and Design to define feature specifications
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of various system resources
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years programming in Ruby on Rails
- Advanced experience with relational database NoSQL implementations (PostgreSQL)
- Strong object-oriented background
- Experience with performance optimizations, SQL tuning, caching strategies
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies
- Experience with Front-End technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX)
- Experience using Git, AWS and other web technologies
- B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field
