Business Intelligence Developer Internship

The Business Intelligence Intern will be closely working with Rackspace Developers and Business leaders. The right individual will be assisting with report development, maintenance and administration. This person should be capable of creating queries and provide analytic support as needed.

* Day to day responsibility of developing, documenting and maintaining the business intelligence framework. Work with and extract information from EFD, Star and Snowflake schemas. * Building operational and ad-hoc reports. Building reports that take advantage of OLAP/Dimensional Modeling capabilities. * Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain the resulting reports * Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs * Support enhancement of existing solutions on an as-needed basis. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. * Develop and maintain supporting documentation

* Experience in SQL and relational databases is a must. * Experience with C#/ Python desired * Experience with Report Development in Excel and/or other platforms * Basic understanding of Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
