Sales Quote Specialist

Quidel is searching for a positive, organized, and customer-focused Sales Quote Specialist for our Athens, Ohio facility. The primary responsibility of the Sales Quote Specialist is to administrate the quoting process within the Company’s ERP system.

* Ensures that Sales Management pricing guidelines are followed by the field sales force and communicates exceptions to Sales and Customer Service Management. * Audits existing customer database information periodically. * Performs administrative duties such as ensuring that quotes are delivered to the customers as instructed by the Sales Representatives or customers. * Performs other miscellaneous activities with respect to promoting DHI products through positive interactions and proactive product offers as assigned. * Researches information with respect to quotes and sales orders for sales representatives if necessary. * Performs internal audit functions such as reviewing completed faxed sales orders for completeness and accuracy.

* High school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated business communication skills acquired in a business/communications curriculum. * Previous customer service experience highly desirable. * Ability to access/enter data quickly and accurately required. * Computer skills including working knowledge of e-mail, word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation software desirable. * Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills preferred. * Positive, can-do attitude.
