Quicken Loans is looking for a Capital Markets Contract Specialist with a proven track record of structuring and negotiating contracts. The successful applicant will work with a cross-functional team of traders, lawyers and product managers to close Capital Markets’ loan sale agreements, joint marketing agreements and agency master agreements.

* Review possible deal structures to ensure viability * Lead various business owners through the contracting process, which includes structuring, negotiating and approving Capital Markets’ contracts * Communicate final deal terms and support business owners with their implementation * Expand and enhance Quicken Loans’ rating agency relationships * Advise the company on all matters relating to the residential mortgage backed securities market and associated regulation

* A degree in law or a bachelor’s degree in business or finance * Five years of mortgage banking experience with a strong understanding of mortgage servicing practices, products guidelines and secondary market executions * Experience in negotiating contracts * Excellent problem solving capabilities and the ability to think outside of the box * Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work both independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment
