Dental Assistant

• Under direct supervision, the Dental Assistant serves as a chair-side assistant.
• Responsible for taking and developing x-rays, operatory set-up and clean-up, and stocking of supplies.
• Provides patient/family oral health education and instruction.

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent

• Experience: One (1) year experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental office or clinic

• Training: Infection control, X-ray safety, OSHA standards, Operation of 38 foot mobile dental clinic (training may be done upon hire)

• License / Certification:

  • Valid CA Drivers License,
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification,
  • X-ray license,
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish,
  • Certified Interpreter - English/Spanish (training may be done upon hire)
