**Description** - Qubit is looking for a junior digital designer to join our growing client services team in New York, to help turn our big ideas and data driven hypotheses into reality. - You'll have a chance to produce innovative work across a great mix of well known brands such as Topshop, Staples, and bebe. - We're looking for a highly skilled, efficient and self motivated individual with a great eye for detail, who is passionate about simplifying user journeys and able to work in a fast turn-around environment. In return, you'll be joining an amazing team packed with talent who are more than happy to help you with your development. **What you'll be doing** - Working closely with our Designers, Strategists, Account Managers and Customer Engineers, proposing creative solutions to our clients' online problems - Creating on-site, on-brand designs across a range of established brands, to help test different approaches to achieve results. - Maintaining Qubit's high output standard, starting from initial client presentations through to final design executions.

**What you'll need** By submitting your application you understand that Qubit will store your data in accordance with local laws - Either a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience - A digital portfolio showing UX experience and usability in mind -- we're all about creating the best user journeys for our clients and their customers - Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite - especially Photoshop and Illustrator - After Effects knowledge is a plus! - A solid understanding of HTML & CSS (though you won't be required to code) - Knowledge of mobile best practices, responsive design, information architecture and/or interaction design - You must be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary, fast-moving, client-facing team **Bonus Points if you:** - Love animating (GIFs, After Effects, Edge Animate, UX Pin - however you create it, we want to see it) - Dabble in icon design (Created a UI Kit? Design your own icons? Show us!)
