This position will pitch our top Food and Lifestyle titles in partnership with a vibrant team, will develop publicity relationships and contacts, and will promote our QPG, UK list of diverse titles. Book publicity experience required. Food and Lifestyle experience a plus.

* Execute PR strategy, including long leads and any author publicity events or appearances. * • Add PR strategy to marketing plans for “A” titles assigned to you. * • Produce excellent press releases, media kits, materials and packages that will get attention. * • Work closely and transparently with all stakeholders and publishers globally about results, pitches * and ongoing activities with books. * • Communicate regularly to company on publicity initiatives, developments and accomplishments. * • Work with national accounts and specialty sales reps to ensure customers are informed of publicity * activity that might support sales efforts. * • Create with teams where needed plans and execute with specific goals for individual titles and * overall lists of QPG,

* 1-3 years’ experience in book publicity or marketing preferably in cooking and/or lifestyle. * • Bachelor’s degree * • Willingness to travel to trade shows or conventions as needed. * • Thorough knowledge of media, public relations, and publicity organizations and/or book publishing. * • Computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets, word processing, database and publishing * programs. * • Highly creative and superior writing and communication skills. * • Ability to conceive of new and innovative approaches to marketing.
