Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, you will perform in-depth reporting & analysis and use innovative ideas to design, implement, and manage processes that support business needs and provide significant exposure as a business partner to senior management.

• Develop company traditional financial models to support investment initiatives (ROI analysis) and ‘what-if’ scenario planning
• Maintain and update peer comparison and analysis quarterly. Includes conducting financing, comparative and pro forma valuations and analysis
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management / board-level reporting packages and forecast updates
• Work in tandem with business leaders across departments to develop meaningful and impactful analysis and presentation materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in annual business planning, key organizational metrics, and other operationally strategic projects

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in investment banking or consulting, additional experience at an FP&A team at a technology company a plus
• Experience in 3-statement financial models, pivot tables and ad hoc analytical tools in Excel
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, willingness to learn SQL and Tableau
• Ability to creatively translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable conclusions
• Great problem solving and analysis skills, leadership skills, and ability to communicate well with a senior management team
