Self-Funded Coordinator

The Self-Funded Coordinator will be responsible for working with our brokers and reinsurance partners on a daily basis to make sure that we are providing competitive proposals for prospect clients and our current clients. This position will also support ASO Sales and Account Management.

• Intake prospect self-funded proposal request from Brokers and Direct Clients.
• This includes working with the Broker or Sales person to make sure that we have all the information needed in order to provide a proposal
• Market New and Renewal Reinsurance proposals to our reinsurance market
• Negotiate Reinsurance Rates
• Day to Day working relationship with our Brokers, Underwriters and Carriers (external)
• Help the Manager of TPA Sales & Service, to maintain the reinsurance relationship with our designated carriers.
• Produce full proposals for Sales Staff
• Provide sales support to our TPA Sales team
• Provide account management support to our Account managers
• Facilitate Plan Document/Amendment creation with our designated vendor
• Help with formal Request for Proposals
• Produce the monthly reports for our ASO clients and deliver to the Account Manager for delivery
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong Word, Excel and Access Skills
• Strong people and customer relations skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience in an analytical or technical environment is a plus
• Time management skills are a must
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, Arkansas Life and Health License preferred, minimum of 2 years health care industry required, underwriting experience a plus.
