Industrial Engineer

This position will be responsible for creating and supporting processes and information systems to streamline and improve operations. Candidates for this position must have demonstrated capabilities in both Operations Analysis and Information Systems.

• Site ownership of data and model assumptions supporting corporate-wide Supply Chain model
• Identification of capacity bottleneck tools
• Support Operations, Managers and Supervisors in creating, tracking, and improving area metrics
• Tracking resource usage (labor, tools, chemicals, precious metals, etc.)
• Controlling the flow of material through the facility
• Improving communication and data accessibility
• Reporting manufacturing performance (cycle time, throughput, utilization)
• Reducing the possibility of misprocessing and scrap generation
• Supporting automation of planning and logistics functions

• BS Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in Operations Analysis and Improvement
• 5+ years’ experience in computer programming
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing operations preferred
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio (.NET) and Oracle
• Must be proficient with Business Object reporting
• Experience with WorkStream and SAP is desired
• Must be self-motivated and able to work well in a cross functional environment
• Must be well organized and have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
