We have an immediate need for a Senior Accountant located at our Aliso Viejo corporate headquarters. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for multiple QLogic international subsidiaries, worldwide consolidation, intercompany accounting, statutory reporting and compliance and special accounting related projects.

• Monthly accounting close for multiple QLogic international subsidiaries. 2.Prepares and verifies journal entries.
• Global consolidation and analysis of accounting results of multiple QLogic international subsidiaries.
• Reconcile and analyze all assigned accounts and reports, including designated balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
• Qualitative and quantitative analysis of financial accounting data. 6.Identification and analysis of business issues.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in various countries
• Assist with local compliance in various countries
• Work with external bookkeepers and auditors in various countries to complete annual audits and interim reporting.
• Assist with testing of system improvements and changes.
• Performs related and other duties as required.

• Bachelor's degree in a business or financial field, or the equivalent in training and experience, and a minimum of 5 years related experience in accounting or business.
• Public accounting experience, strongly preferred.
• Experience with multi-national corporations and foreign exchange and transactions a plus, but not required.
• Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and high proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Windows applications.
• Experience processing in Oracle ERP is strongly preferred.
• CPA license a plus, but not required.
