Manufacturing Engineering Co-op

Our product offerings include vehicle and soldier protection, unmanned systems (robots), power sensors and control systems and transportation safety solutions.

• The manufacturing engineering co-op students who work in Unmanned Systems group are given the responsibility to solve design and process problems encountered in production and at our subcontractors. They are expected to:

  • Learn how to use Pro-E
  • Understand the problem by collecting data
  • Identify and test potential solutions
  • Verify and validate design changes
  • Assist engineers on design projects
  • Lead and manage their own projects
  • Write engineering changes

• Co-op students also work with on teams with manufacturing, R&D, and sustaining engineers to get new products transitioned into production.

• The ideal candidate must have an interest in manufacturing, must like to solve problems, and must have a willingness to work hard to get the job done.
• A sophomore or higher in a Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Program is preferred. Knowledge of Pro-E preferred but not required. Knowledge of Microsoft Programs required.
