Summary

A NYS government agency located in New York, NY is looking for one (1) Oracle Lead Developer and five (5) Oracle Developers for a 6 - 24 month contact.

Responsibilities

* The consultants will be responsible for system analysis, database change requests, process analysis, database change requests, process analysis, security and standards. 
* The consultant will be hands on Oracle Forms and reports programmer with commanding knowledge of PL/SQL and will also oversee application testing including interfaces and address user reported issues. 
* In addition, this position will require day-to-day troubleshooting of software application issues, manage the development of Oracle Forms and Reports consistent with the application standards and requirements document. 
* The consultants will work with management, business users, IT project manager and module leads to add or enhance functionality based on business requirements, by providing hands on programming, production support, application testing, unit testing, ensure successful user acceptance testing, debugging programs as required, finding resolutions and troubleshooting long running programs, and program modifications, where necessary.

Ideal Candidate

Oracle Fusion Forms and Reports 11g or minimum Oracle Forms and Reports 10g expertise.
Commanding knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
Hands-on working experience with complex/large database packages, procedures, functions and triggers with Oracle database 11g R2 or higher.
Candidate must be able to work independently on complex development / enhancements
Candidate must have a minimum of 5 – 7 years of hands-on working experience in Oracle Forms/Reports and PL/SQL of which 3 – 5 years must have been in a managerial / supervisory capacity.
Good understanding of Oracle WebLogic architecture / Oracle Application Servers.
Understanding of Oracle OPEX (Application Express), JavaScript, HTML,PHP and Apache Server a-plus.
