A leading financial services provider located in New York, NY is looking for an outstanding professional to join their dynamic Core IT Audit team in New York as an Audit Expert for a fulltime position.

• Analyzing and assessing operational or emerging risk in the technology functions;
• Identifying and evaluating the effectiveness of controls designed to address those risks;
• Providing practical, innovative, and value-added solutions to issues identified;
• Preparing reports of audit findings for senior management at local, global, functional and Group levels;
• Monitoring the results, risk profile and developments within Group Technology and provide input for planning sessions.

• A strong Technical Aptitude and knowledge.
• Comfortable in identifying critical IT controls and processes across a wide range of technologies and environments (including databases, operating systems, network control devices, messaging systems, data protection products, mobile technologies, threat detection & prevention systems, data & storage components, virtualization, etc).
• Concise communicator of risk.
• Diligent in fully understanding the extent and impact of control deficiencies, including the strengths and weaknesses of complementary controls, the criticality of impacted assets, and the outcomes which could occur if remedial action is not taken.
• Able to concisely communicate these conclusions both verbally and in writing.
• Data Analytics driven and able to perform basic data analytics such as cleansing / importing data sets into Excel, Access, ACL, etc. and filtering the data to determine linkages between data sets, trending, or visualization of results.
• Excellent influencing and communication skills, and a personable team player within a global team. Certifications preferred but not required: CISA, CISSP, CIA.
