Q2 is seeking a Marketing Content Writer. We are looking for a dual-minded team player – someone who is not only creative and an excellent writer, but also process-driven and can think holistically. We need a problem solver with excellent communication, messaging and organizational skills – a story teller to help us create more brand and product awareness through creative, effective and engaging content in the financial services industry. Ideally, you are a talented writer who can easily bring customer-first product and brand messaging to life – getting beyond just technical features and benefits. We want to capture not only the innovation Q2 brings to our customers, but also our unique culture of partnership into good stories that customers can understand and relate to with leanings towards content strategy.
* Ability to hold stakeholder interviews, content audits and conduct thorough research to gather insights, understand audience needs and make recommendations on direction of content * Create and produce high quality content across multiple mediums including, but not limited to, sales campaigns, website and digital efforts, social media, internal communications all while maintaining consistency with brand and creative standards * Help establish and maintain a content and go-to-market strategy that spans and incorporates various content types (advertising, sales enablement, direct mail, landing pages, social media, web content, product documentation, presentations, etc.) * Collaborate with creative team members, product managers, sales professionals and external influencers to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience * Understand industry, product portfolio and technical product features and be able to convert that into content that is engaging, easy to understand, differentiated and highly informative to our audiences * Ensure brand standards and messaging are consistent and maintained across all channels * Work on concurrent projects and ensure that deliverables are achieved on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativity * Create and facilitate internal communications, including marketing knowledge center/library and regular industry news service/summaries for executives/sales * Iterate and update content and materials for accuracy and completeness * Ability to determine methods and procedures for new assignments and coordinate activities of other personnel * Provide feedback to peers on projects in an effort to help create consistent quality and messaging * Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 2-5 years professional writing experience * Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience * Banking or financial service experience preferred * Proven ability to write with imagination, clarity and attention to detail * Experience writing both technical content and promotional copy * Ability to identify and write to different audience needs * High attention to detail with excellent spelling and grammatical skills * Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to manage a writing project from start to finish * Can do, highly motivated team player * Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint * General knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
