Distribution Sales Representative

Puratos is an international group with a full range of innovative products and application expertise in the bakery, patisserie and chocolate sectors. Products and services are available in more than 100 countries around the world, and in many cases actually produced there by our subsidiaries. Clients are artisans, industry, retailers and food service.

This position will be responsible for maintaining and developing sales to wholesale / distribution accounts within a specific territory sales region for Puratos USA. This position will work closely with Technical Sales Reps to develop new product introductions to existing or new accounts in an effort to grow our business.

• Increase sales to wholesale / distribution accounts located in a specific territory within the US by opening new accounts and penetrating deeper into existing ones.
• Establish and maintain close contacts with the wholesale / retail decision makers in order to develop solid sales driven by constant introduction of new products and concepts. Develop business opportunities / partnerships between QSR, small supermarkets , small to large wholesale accounts.
• Report activities on a weekly basis, participate actively in monthly sales meeting, and participate in annual budgeting process.
• Work closely with Technical Sales Reps and Research Managers to improve or develop products needed for increasing wholesale / distribution sales.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales
• Sales experience in food service or bakery is a plus
