Technical Lead

• Design and development of actuarial applications.
• Collaborate with ESFS Infrastructure team in understanding infrastructure and platform requirements to optimize application design.
• Lead and contribute in building solution architecture proposals, design discussions, and code reviews
• Review internal as well as vendor deliverables for the accuracy and quality.
• Provide technical support for the production issues resulting from new deployments, analyzing business reported issues, determining the root causes, and implementing fixes to prevent future outages.

• Minimum 5 years experience working on development of distributed, SOA and web based application
• Strong background on grid computing platforms like Microsoft High Performance Computing (MS HPC) and cloud computing.
• Experience in any of the following programming technologies is required: Java,.NET , JSON / Web Services, Perl , VB Script, AutoSys, SOA and SAN/NAS storage. Knowledge of C/C++ is plus.
• Experience in Database technologies such as MS SQL , Oracle, TSQL/PSQL and database design.
• Strong leadership and influence skills with ability to manage virtual teams across multiple organizations.
• Knowledge of actuarial platforms like Polysystems, MATLab and GGY AXIS is plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Team player and skilled at resolving conflict and negotiating effectively and tactfully
• Demonstrated track record as a critical thinker
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is desired.
