Asset Management Analyst

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring collateral, credit, portfolio and security performance as well as managing multiple monthly and quarterly processes for the FHA portfolio. The candidate will work closely with managers, asset managers, various investors and agencies. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to learn and develop a broad range of agency guidance, financial, credit, analytical, and presentation skills. This is an entry-level position. Individuals are still learning and developing the basic techniques and skills in asset management. For US employees, this job is exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime.

* Manage multiple monthly and quarterly FHA portfolio processes including CML report, insurance losses, new loan review, trigger scrubs/monitoring, financial statement collections and analysis (multifamily, healthcare and hospitals). * Provide superior analytical support to managers and senior members of the team on a wide variety of assignments, including communication with agencies and the loan production staff, cash flow modeling, risk analysis, property performance, market analysis, and borrower credit analysis. * Attention to accurate detail, take initiative to continually improve the integrity of portfolio information and meet capital source reporting deadlines. * Special Projects, analytical requests and general support of the FHA permanent team.

* Bachelors degree required preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Real Estate or related discipline * Understanding of basic financial modeling and valuation terms, concepts and methodologies * Real Estate, Investment, Finance, or Accounting experience (1 3 years preferred) * Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability
