We are seeking experienced Software Engineers in Test to join our quality engineering team in San Francisco to work on upcoming challenging projects. Will be responsible for product quality, building new and maintaining current framework for UI and API/Service level of testing. This engineer will also own product updates and maintenance of our legacy production stack. Will require heavily to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Creates test plans and test cases for new and changed application functionalities.
- Automates 90-100% of the documented test cases using Selenium and custom-made tools.
- Performs some manual and mostly automated functional ("black box") and unit ("white box") testing.
- Builds and maintains UI and API/Services automation framework.
- Participates in product and feature design with developers.
- Develops innovative test solutions to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Contributes to the test strategy and design of new projects.
- Investigates test and production failures, performs root-cause analysis, and create detailed, high-quality error reports.
- Self-motivated, self-starting individual with drive to work independently
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to interface with other departments
- Solid experience in building Java automation framework, tools and automation scripting
- Very good experience in TestNG and Selenium WebDriver frameworks
- Strong hands-on automation experience in API/services level, web-based application and mobile applications
- Experience with any database. Preferably SQL Server
- Ability to build integrate test script with CI environments
- Proficiency with at least one continuous integration system. Preferably Jenkins
- Expert with at least one source code control system. Preferably Git/Bitbucket
- Performance testing experience is a plus
- Experience in application monitoring tools (NewRelic/AppDynamics) is a plus
- MS or BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
