Administrative Assistant for a successful tax accounting firm located in the Irvine CA area.
Pay $18/hour. This is a Temporary position through tax season and if the person is the right fit will grow into a Temporary to Hire position. Hours 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work Overtime, as needed during busy tax season - which will involve evenings and weekends. Benefits offered after hire include medical, dental and 401k. Business casual dress code.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist with letters, faxes, phone calls, appointment scheduling, copies, etc.
- Processing and packaging tax returns
- Maintain inventory of all supplies (office and packaging)
- Computer work in their proprietary system, as well as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Data entry, correspondence, scanning, copying, etc.
- Backup to switchboard receptionist
- Assist with distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail
- Min 5 years Administrative experience
- Previous experience in CPA firm a plus!
- Intermediate Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn new software programs
- Detail-oriented and accurate. Strong proofreading skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Quick learner with critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with team and independently
