Network Engineer / Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Network Engineer to architect, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a team responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet today’s demanding business objectives and SLAs in a leading edge, technology driven E-commerce Company.

* Architect, engineer and install next generation networking solutions in a fast-paced global company. * Analyze network performance data and statistics and provide recommendations and roadmaps. * Stay current with industry trends bringing new solution options * Interface with our company service groups for efficient project delivery * Provide training, mentoring and tier 3 oncall rotation support to other staff on technical topics and network design. * Define, document, and enforce system standards.

**Soft skills we are looking for:** * Analytical Skills: Review systems and issues to find corrections or room for improvement * Attention to Detail: Create diagrams that convey topologies and traffic flows, insuring systems interoperability. * Leadership Skills: Poses the ability to demonstrate calm and professional demeanor when handling critical situations * Organizational skills: Project Delivery experience in planning, executing and maintaining a project from start to finish. * Teamwork: Collaborate with multiple IT and business teams for the successful planning, execution and delivery of all initiatives. **What we’d like to see in your experience:** **The following are core requirements** * Production Experience with Enterprise and/or Service Provider Routers * Production Experience with Enterprise & Datacenter Ethernet switching * Production Experience routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP, MOSPF, GRE/IPSec, VPN, VPLS, MPLS, RSTP/STP, Aruba wireless controller and Aruba ClearPass solution. **Additional experience we would prefer** * Traffic load balancing techniques and design and operational challenges (Nginx, HAProxy, F5 LTM, Citrix Netscaler) * Security postures and policy management (Juniper SRX , Palo Alto) * Experience with network management platforms and protocols such as Splunk, NetConf, SNMP, RMON, MRTG, Cacti, and Net/J/SFlow. * Working knowledge of L4+ DDoS mitigation solutions a plus * Linux administration is a plus * Experience with programing languages as Python, Perl or Lua scripting, Ansible/Puppet, and experience with Orchestration, Databases MySQL, MSSQL is a plus **Education requirement** * Typically requires Bachelor's in CS, EE, or IS or equivalent experience * Cisco CCNP preferred or equivalent experience/certification * Cisco CCIE/Juniper JNCIE or equivalent experience/certification a plus
