Intern - Summer - UX/UI Designer

Priceline gives travelers the inside track to travel deals and discounts. With their exclusive deal search technology, priceline aims to deliver more ways to save on airline tickets, hotel rooms, rental cars, vacation packages and cruises than anyone else.

Priceline is looking for a UI/UX Design Intern for the summer of 2016. Join as a contributing member of our team in Norwalk, Connecticut working side-by-side with a small group of designers, developers and product owners to help ensure that Priceline offers an industry-leading responsive email experience that continues to drive product growth.

* Create beautiful responsive email templates to be viewed by millions of subscribers * Provide UI/UX design support for custom in-house applications * Work directly with developers to bring your template designs to life with dynamic content specific to each individual subscriber * Conceptualize, design and implement A/B tests to optimize campaign performance * Maintain visual guidelines to ensure consistent representation of Priceline’s brand

* A strong drive to innovate * A keen eye and passion for beautiful, usable design * Flexibility and comfort in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing business needs * A portfolio showcasing excellent skills in visual design and innovative UI/UX solutions * Qualifications * Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, usability and other design principles * Strong skills with design tools, specifically Adobe Creative Suite * Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML and CSS is preferred * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
