Our client is searching for a dynamic, sharp, and progressive minded candidate to fill the key leadership role of Senior Fixed Asset Accountant. This role is designed and a direct path to the Asst. Controller position.

• Advising the Fixed Assets Group of proper compliance when dealing with fixed asset or lease related issues.
• Assisting in the coordination of fixed asset inventories, and audits with internal and external audit teams.
• Managing the fixed asset system close on a monthly basis.
• Monitoring asset capitalization and retirement.
• Testing depreciation calculation for financial books as needed.
• Reconciling company wide fixed assets.
• Creating and posting journal entries during month end close as needed.
• Assisting in preparing account reconciliations and roll forwards.
• Helping Fixed Asset Group with day to day operations of all asset acquisitions, retirements/disposals, transfers, gains/?losses, etc. as needed.
• Ad hoc and other analysis, as required.

• B.S.in Accounting
• Extensive working experience in general ledger, fixed assets and leases is required.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong organization skills with great attention to detail are required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are required.
