Assistant Controller

Our client is searching for a dynamic, sharp, and progressive minded candidate to fill the key leadership role of Assistant Controller.

* Identify daily activity in bank accounts * Reconcile over 20 different bank accounts for several different corporate entities Post journal entries in the company general ledger accounting software package * Work closely with Fund Accounting group to identify bank loan wire activity in one corporate entity * Prepare and distribute 1099s to vendors * Track and maintain fixed asset ledger by coordinating with Technology and Accounts Payable. * Prepare schedules for reporting of fixed assets * Assist with the preparation of other reports provided to management * Assist with year end audits * Assist with preparation of month-end financial statements, cash flow statements, budgets * Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings

* B.S.in Accounting * Public Accounting experience is preferred * GAAP accounting concepts and technical accounting research skills.
