Assistant Controller

Our client is searching for a dynamic, sharp, and progressive minded candidate to fill the key leadership role of Assistant Controller.

• Identify daily activity in bank accounts
• Reconcile over 20 different bank accounts for several different corporate entities Post journal entries in the company general ledger accounting software package
• Work closely with Fund Accounting group to identify bank loan wire activity in one corporate entity
• Prepare and distribute 1099s to vendors
• Track and maintain fixed asset ledger by coordinating with Technology and Accounts Payable.
• Prepare schedules for reporting of fixed assets
• Assist with the preparation of other reports provided to management
• Assist with year end audits
• Assist with preparation of month-end financial statements, cash flow statements, budgets
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings

• B.S.in Accounting
• Public Accounting experience is preferred
• GAAP accounting concepts and technical accounting research skills.
