Summary

The Senior Systems Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining the government cloud VPCs to include the following:
    • Virtual Private Network (VPN)
    • Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)
    • Networking
    • Load Balancing
    • Direct Connections
    • Data Warehouse
    • Auto Scaling
    • File System Storage
    • Object Storage
    • Block Storage
    • Integrated Storage
    • Firewalls
    • Virtual Servers (memory, displace, bandwidth, block storage, object storage)
    • Backups
    • Domain Name System (DNS)
    • Domain Controllers
  • Providing Linux CentOS administration.
  • Managing OpenStack users, projects and rules.
  • Configuring and managing OpenStack images.
  • Creating, configuring, and managing OpenStack compute nodes.
  • Installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange.
Ideal Candidate
  • Associate’s Degree or higher in related field with 5+ years of experience in related field. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Amazon Cloud Services
  • Engineering Service Professionals / Red Hat Linux Systems Engineer or Red Hat Certified System Administrator - RHCSA
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Oracle 12C
  • Ability to obtain DHS 6c Suitability or Secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
