HRA/MIS is required to support the FIA initiative to re-engineer the business processes at the more than 40 SNAP and Job center locations. The mission is to develop a client self-directed service model that would improve customer service while maintaining integrity, by utilizing technology and simplifying existing business processes.

• Developing system design specification, developing system documentation, performing system design and coding.
• Developing and preparing documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security standards.
• Creating, testing and maintaining program code.
• Designing reports, audit trails, security mechanisms
• Performing general programming assistance to other MIS programmers/projects as may be needed.

• Bachelor ’s degree in related field with 10+ years of experience with writing application software data analysis, and data access. An equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of experience with data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation.
• 10+ years of experience with technical and user documentation, software conversions.
• 10+ years of experience leading in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions.
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
