The Web Development Team is seeking a Jr Web/Front end Developer reporting to the Sr. Director Application Development & Systems Integration: he/she will work with the Information Services Division

* Prioritize and work on projects along with performing day-to-day responsibilities of the department * Be detailed oriented, independent and a strong team player * Working with the Web Development team on concrete5 CMS projects for plannedparenthood.org website redesign and other web/digital projects with the focus on front end work * Work on other non-CMS web-related development projects * Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for CMS-driven web properties, and other PPFA web properties * Responsible for meeting assigned objectives and contributes to the development of the department’s objectives. * Evaluate and recommend changes for improvements * Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions * Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems * Determines how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes * Applies general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense for the organization

* Sass knowledge; Bourbon is a huge plus knowledge of Javascript, jQuery, and Ajax * Experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and developing for mobile * Minimum 1+ years experience building PHP/MySQL applications or equivalent using an MVC framework. * Experience developing for Content Management Systems; Experience developing in Concrete5 CMS a huge plus * Knowledge of Linux OS (CLI) * Version control experience with Git * Object Oriented Programming skills
