Our clients include pension funds, private partnerships, international investors, insurance companies, lenders, special servicers, syndicators, government agencies and high net worth individuals.
Summary:
The Associate Asset Manager will be responsible in providing multifamily asset management assistance for key clients within the Pinnacle portfolio. The general focus will be on the real estate financial performance, as well as consultation regarding capital improvements and other operational recommendations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide assistance with key client accounts including the portfolio’s operating and physical performance

Evaluate property management results consistent with owner’s objectives and budgeted expectations

Ongoing review of key client property and portfolio performance, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports

As needed - financial analysis, real estate investment underwriting, and coordination of transaction activities

Review pro-forma P & L statements and budget for capital expenditures

Review and make recommended changes to marketing plans and annual operating budgets

Review and analyze requests for capital improvements submitted by property management

Work with various parties in performing tasks, including property and construction management, lenders, investment partners, brokers, and other third parties

Project real estate performance by understanding specific asset characteristics, interpreting historical operating results, and understanding local supply-demand fundamentals, as well as broad economic data

Conduct fieldwork (e.g. inspect assets,visit rent and sales comps) that may require occasional travel
Qualifications and Skills

Excellent analytical skills with solid financial modeling experience; ability to create complex financial models using Excel

Strong financial skills, including an understanding of cash flow models, cash-on-cash yield, and IRR analysis

Ability to quantitatively analyze a variety of properties

Team player who will thrive in a strongly collaborative environment

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to discuss complex transactions

Availability to travel
Education and Experience
-
Undergraduate business degree in real estate, finance, or accounting; MBA desirable

Minimum of 5 years proven multifamily real estate investment experience

Desired experience includes multifamily real estate acquisitions, due diligence,underwriting, asset management, and property management
-
Experience in value-add asset management preferred
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Expert in Excel
