Summary

Pika Energy seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, implementation, testing and certification of power converters for residential renewable energy systems. Pika’s renewable energy products are installed across the US and in multiple countries and support bidirectional power flow enabling advanced energy management solutions combining distributed generation, storage and loads.

Responsibilities

Develop new clean energy power conversion products
Develop and test controls for the Pika Energy Island product which enables buildings to become autonomous nanogrids
Testing, certification and deployment of new power conversion products
Contribute to the embedded software development and certification effort of a grid-interactive inverter
Architect embedded software controllers
