Director of Product Marketing

The Director of Product Marketing for Phunware will help shape product strategy and support revenue growth by driving product marketing efficacy and consistency for all Phunware offerings: software, digital advertising and licensable data.

Along with a team of Product Marketing Managers, the Director of Product Marketing will support Phunware product releases with messaging, positioning and market strategy, along with sales enablement to ensure alignment and drive demand and adoption. They will be responsible for ongoing competitive positioning and differentiation in multiple markets. They will own strategy and brand development for Phunware’s new licensable data offering, as well as our audience building, engagement and monetization solutions.

* 5+ years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities (product marketing experience with digital advertising and/or big data STRONGLY preferred). * Equal parts technical and creative, able to translate often complex product details into messaging relevant for multiple markets. * Ability to work with stakeholders across teams from Engineering to Sales to Customer Success to produce and disseminate product marketing materials * Must be a consummate communicator and diplomat **Desirable:** * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a similar field preferred.
