Summary
Support the development of Philips global therapy strategy and roadmap, including both organic and inorganic opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Leading business development activities to identify, recommend, negotiate, structure, and obtain internal approvals for acquisitions of potential business targets or strategic investments. * Build a strong understanding of our target markets and customers through a range of sources. * Work with business units and external advisors to evaluate and conduct financial and risk analyses of business opportunities. * Effective organization, management, and completion of due diligence projects. * Communicate with investment bankers, brokers, and consultants for acquisition opportunities. * Maintain current knowledge of developments, trends, competitive environment. * Guide and support post acquisition integration. * Assist in managing and monitoring investment and product portfolios as well as outstanding partnerships.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree (Science or Business related degrees preferred) * Medical Device, entrepreneurial and good business initiative with more than 8 years of experience of which some years are in finance-related valuation and at least 2 years of Corporate Development, Mergers and Acquisitions and strategic planning experience. * Demonstrable track record of completing and integrating acquisitions. * Proven project management expertise. * Effective and efficient problem solving and analytical skills. * Commercial and financial acumen and attention to detail. * Effective presentation skills. * Ability to conduct market, industry, and company research. * Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment. * Ability to develop financial models and performs evaluation of target companies. * Must demonstrate maturity, high integrity, energy, and team spirit. * Possess strong interpersonal skills.
