Summary
As a BI Analyst at Pet360, you will provide the perfect combination of: understanding of complex data sources; development of meaningful reports; and application of results to improve business decisions. It requires proficiency with analytical tools (SQL, QlikSense, Tableau or similar business intelligence (BI) software), knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of presentation software, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service. Your aim will be to work with other team members to use best practices while making good trade-offs to deliver reports and dashboards that meet or exceed requirements. You should be, or strive to be, comfortable working across all data sources and extracting or visualizing that data to others in the company.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and deliver business intelligence reporting and dashboards. * Convert ideas and business needs into meaningful report designs and data requirements for BI. * Perform business analysis and provide business insights and recommendations. * Partner with team members to understand and develop financial and business metrics. * Provide analytical support for company projects and initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
* 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, modeling & reporting using BI visualization software. * Able to write queries using SQL to extract and manipulate data to achieve desired results using select statements, sub-queries, functions, links of multiple tables, scripting. * Familiarity with extract, transform, load (ETL) and online analytical processing (OLAP). * Experience designing and developing dashboards and reporting metrics using business intelligence (BI) visualization tools like QlikSense or Tableau. * Able to understand business questions and translate them into analytics. * Capability to communicate effectively with others throughout all levels of the organization. * Able to manage competing deadlines, manage variances in schedules and resource. * Familiarity with eComm business model and financial analysis preferred. * Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a team-oriented, collaborative workplace * Self reliant, articulate, approachable and comfortable with a rapidly changing environment * Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills * Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
