About Periscope Data
Periscope Data is a data analysis tool that unifies business data across multiple different data sources. By plugging into database, marketing and billing systems, it can show customers how email and SMS affect user retention; which sales channels produce the most loyal users; and how many users use both web and mobile frontends.
Summary
As a visual designer, you’ll work with a close-knit design team and responsible for crafting the brand experience for our company, prospects and clients. As a member of the Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for building brand awareness while helping increase leads and interest in our product. As the the second designer to join our burgeoning marketing team you’ll help shape the direction of our brand and marketing programs for years to come. Some examples of areas we need help with: website, advertisements, content marketing, presentations, and much more. This position is critical to our mission of building brand awareness and communicating with our target audiences.
Responsibilities
Within your first week…. * Meet the team and get familiar with our brand, design language, and marketing programs. By Day 30…. * Audit our entire brand and begin roadmap to strengthening it. * Create the information architecture for PeriscopeData.com and collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to prioritize which web pages we create or redesign next. * Work with marketing managers to design an ad testing framework and begin testing ad creative critical to revenue driving advertising programs. * Influence design for look and feel for our new office. Day 60.... * You’ll continue to own optimize our website redesign. Design new areas of our website, like customer case studies, from the ground up. * Drive storyboard concepts for product videos/demos. * Design the look and feel of our first content marketing piece and help us redesign critical sales presentations. * Make decisions about the look and feel of our brand. You’re already creating consistency across marketing and sales materials. Day 90… * By now you’re very familiar with the Periscope Data brand and marketing programs. Formulate plans for new areas to explore outside of the website. Some examples include events, content, and other programs. This is where we get creative. * You’ll continually evolve the brand system and design language
Ideal Candidate
* You’ve developed a stunning portfolio of visual design, typography and branding. * You mastered Sketch and Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) and can even show us a few tricks to make us better! * You’ve built a beautiful website using your expert HTML and CSS skills. * Your passion for design and craft has been highlighted by your design peers and sales colleagues as game changing. * Your strong understanding of design principles and methodologies impact user behavior and happiness. * You enjoy keeping the branding consistent between web and mobile, marketing and product. * You take ownership of the company brand from concept to production and have countless examples of making things better and how you’ve measured success. * You’ll design and execute brand experiences including digital, print, ads, physical objects and other materials.
