Summary
Provide general clerical support in the Quality Assurance Department. Process documentation, maintain computerized department records and data systems, and prepare inventory reports and graphs and support other QA tasks.
Responsibilities
- Working with a variety of documents (forms, schedules, inventory reports) to provide the necessary QA support in the areas of inventory control, RMA and Red Tag record keeping and other QA assigned tasks. - Analyze and process documents - review/check for accuracy, copy and add additional data as appropriate, route. - Follow-up with other departments or customers/vendors to resolve discrepancies, obtain more or missing information. - Stock/Supply Inventory Control – Verify and systematically correct inventory discrepancies - Filing/Record Keeping – Maintain all inventory audit documentation records. Use data information to generate inventory accuracy charts. - Provide support in RMA manifest generation as well as Red Tag documentation control and records - Back fill other supporting clerks such as Facturas and QA Dept. Provide necessary support on other clerical needs for both QA supervisor and Manager. - Maintain files pertinent to area of operation. - Conform to Internal Control, ISO-9001, ISO 14001, QMS, EMS programs etc. - Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly activity/summary reports as required. - Comply with company, client, and governmental policies and regulations. - Continue to enhance knowledge of job related operations. - Assist with other clerical duties as required to meet departmental objectives. - Perform other duties as needed.
Ideal Candidate
- High school education or equivalent required - 1 - 2 years previous experience required. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills as coordination with other functions as well as contact with individuals external to the department and/or company such as vendors, customers, etc. - Must possess excellent computer skills including knowledge on Office Access - Must have some knowledge in SAP to generate required inventory reports and QA tasks backfill support. - Able to operate standard office equipment (i.e. computer, copy machine, fax, calculator, etc.) - Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening. **Physical Requirements:** - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

Working Conditions

This is a Monday - Friday position with the possibility of working on Saturdays. The hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm.
