Responsibilities
Pennoni Associates, a leading engineering and design consulting firm is currently looking for an electrical engineer OR designer with minimum 2 years of experience in Pennoni's MEP consulting division in Newark, Delaware.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with power distribution equipment such as 480V or 208V transformers, substations, switchboards, panel boards, over current protection devices, disconnect switches, VFD's, motor starters, etc. - Able to lay out and circuit receptacles on architectural floor plans and complete panel schedules. - Able to lay out lighting, lighting controls and circuiting on reflected ceiling plans. - Must be able to select and size conductors, i.e. THHN, THWN, Tray Cable, Busduct, etc. - Must be able to select and size conduit and types, i.e. PVC, RGS, IMC, EMT. - Must be able to calculate cable fill in raceways, cable trays etc. - Familiar with electrical calculations, such as short circuit fault,voltage drop, panel schedule load. - Coordinate with architectural, mechanical and plumbing trades for equipment power feed. Desirable qualifications but NOT required: - Project experience in research and development labs, universities, manufacturing and process lines. - Experience in Revit. - Experience in SKM software. - Great personality and able to effectively communicate with our clients. - Any electrical degree or certification.
