This leader will work closely with the CTO of Braintree and the CEO of Paydiant and their respective leadership teams/organizations to help support achievement of business priorities through the work that’s led by the People organization. (Both Paydiant and Braintree were acquired by PayPal in 2013 and 2014 respectively and both continue to serve as integral parts of the Product & Engineering strategic priorities for PayPal. The People Leader will continue the work supporting culture integration (on a global scale) with a focus on driving business growth and supporting technology convergence for the sole solution products. She/he will leverage and integrate all of the pertinent expertise and capabilities of the People function including COEs such as global rewards, talent acquisition, talent management and development, and employee relations. The People Leader will partner with the business leaders to develop business objectives and interpret what HR enablers are necessary to deliver the business results. This individual will also be charged with strengthening the effectiveness of our leadership bench by providing coaching and counsel to senior executives to further develop their leadership capability and capacity. The ideal candidate will partner with senior executives and leadership teams of the client organizations to design and scale an organization capable of delivering against the strategic goals and objectives of the businesses.
- Significant acquisition integration experience required. Strong preference for integration experience working for both companies that have been acquired as well as companies that have acquired.
- Strong understanding that to build a highly successful organization capable of delivering extraordinary results foundationally starts with people at heart of the business. This individual must be able to bring deep business acumen and the executional know how of building and growing businesses globally through the ongoing development and supports of its people.
- Ability to match effective People strategies with business goals and articulate a practical vision for global change as well as the ROI for People initiatives.
- Significant depth of experience in Organizational Design, Compensation (particularly innovative retention strategies), and Staffing/Executive Recruiting.
- Demonstrated ability for driving and implementing innovative cultural and structural change and global solutions.
- Hands on experience in the execution of an annual compensation process.
- Strong analytical background with experience delivering data-driven presentations to key business leaders in a global matrixed environment.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
- 10-15 years of HR experience in roles of progressively increasing scope with a demonstrated track record of influencing at the executive level.
- Experience leading HR for technical organizations; product & engineering
