Summary
The Consumer Web Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving web site improvements and creating content and campaigns aimed at driving Sign Up, Activation, Cross Sell and Product Adoption for Consumer Marketing in North America. He/she will work with the team to improve the site’s SEO efforts, drive development of new content, develop and execute extensive testing, and improve PayPal’s overall end-to-end customer experiences. Other responsibilities include • supporting the web site strategy and campaigns that drive CMG’s core business, co-marketing programs and cross sell functions. • drive property optimization efforts with PayPal’s Consumer and Merchant product including but not limited to Check Out / Cart products, On-Boarding, Account Management and Mobile App to improve user experience, personalization and flow through.
Responsibilities
* Execution. Candidates must have a proven track record of web site marketing execution and an ability to thrive within a matrix environment. Demonstrated follow-through to implementation and measurement. * Results Orientation. Manage to results. Own goals with the same urgency and commitment of a sales executive. Candidate must have excellent knowledge about how to use web analytics tools to drive optimization decisions. * Customer Focus. Must be able to demonstrate customer orientation in his/her approach. Must implicitly understand what is necessary to create value for merchants, channels and the constituencies that they serve. * Web Site & Marketing Technology Background. Candidate must have some working knowledge marketing technology and how to leverage existing tools to drive performance. * User Experience & Information Architecture. Candidate must have experience driving UX/IA efforts and teams. He/she will have a point of view on elegant end-to-end user experiences that are highly personalized. * Financial Planning and Management. Candidate must have experience developing budgets and forecasts, and managing to them. Conduct thorough plan and campaign analysis. Develop and help sell-in new recommendations based on analysis, as needed. * Measure & Report. Candidate will be able to create and deliver reports to leadership. Should be able to work with global analytics leads to identify optimization opportunities and user insights, * Cross functional Partnership. Work with the Segment owners, Consumer Marketing, Global Brand, and Product Marketing teams – one that takes into account the market facing opportunity, product, brand, PR, pricing, credit, operations etc. Regularly communicate priorities up, down, and out to ensure clarity and alignment. * Value Proposition. Ability to translate the PayPal brand into meaningful value propositions and benefits messages for all target audiences. * Expertise. Must be a web marketer through and through including expert knowledge of content creation, SEO and UX/IA. Help identify gaps and take action to close them, in an effort to establish PayPal as a world class marketing organization in the small and medium business space. * Whole-brained marketer . Equally strong in creative and conceptual thinking, as well as critical and analytical thinking.

* 4-6 years relevant web marketing experience * Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred * Talented.
